Join Texas A&M Forest Service for our annual personnel meeting in Bryan/College Station. Optional pre-meeting events will take place on the evening of Dec. 2 and the personnel meeting will be on Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Personnel are required to attend and to wear jeans and black agency polo.

6:00 – 10:00 p.m. – The Drury Inn Meeting Room with Board Games and Snacks (must RSVP, limited to first 75 guests)

6:30 a.m. – Optional 5K Fun Run/Walk (Veterans Park) 

7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. – Retiree Coffee Hour (Expo Center)

8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. – Check in & Coffee

9:00 a.m. – Opening Ceremonies & Welcome by Director Al Davis

9:15 a.m. – Team Building Activities

11:00 a.m. – Break

11:15 a.m. – Keynote Address with Kimberly Lightley

Optional Event Details

The Cut Axe Throwing (priority given to those who RSVPed for event, walk-ins opportunities avaliable)

There will be a shuttle option from The Drury Inn to The Cut Axe Throwing. All agency vehicles will park at the Moore-Connally Building. Enter the parking lot from Spring Loop and start parking in the back of the lot. Do not start parking until 5:30 pm. This is to allow Texas A&M University System employees plenty of time to exit the lot. Please have any agency vehicles out of the lot by 10:00pm.

College Station or any agency employees can bring their own POV to The Cut.

Administrative Procedure requires that you do not drive an Agency vehicle if you have consumed alcohol. It is also a violation of Agency Administrative Procedure to consume alcohol while wearing Agency-branded attire.

5K Fun Run/Walk

Meet at Field 4 Coast Guard Parking lot by 6:30 a.m., start at 6:45 a.m.

Administrative Procedure 20.03, 9.6 states that:

If the distance between the employee’s headquarters and the travel destination is 60 miles or less, prior approval of overnight lodging by the department head (or incident commander if on an emergency response assignment) is required. The duty point must be outside the employee’s designated headquarters location.

Drury Inn at 705 University Dr E, College Station, TX 77840 

The Dury Inn is the preferred hotel. There are only 75 rooms available in the room block, first come, first serve. This hotel will be booked on your behalf if you indicate so in the RSVP. You will be required to provide your travel card for payment at check in. 

Hyatt Place at 1100 University Dr E, College Station, TX 77840 

Hotel is at or under GSA but it is your responsibility to book your stay as well as ensure it is GSA rate and that you provide your travel card and tax-exempt form at booking/check in.

Holiday Inn Express at 1203 University Dr E, College Station, TX 77840
